How awesome was the premier of V last night? For the past couple of days, I've been watching the old reruns on the SciFi (excuse me, SyFy) channel and wondering why I ever thought this series was so cool way back when. That's probably because my dad was obsessed with the show and its now lame effects but last nights revamp was actually pretty good, plus it had Alpha you can't go wrong with Alan,lol. Not to mention Scott Wolf doing his weird mouth breather thing and the lead alien Anna completely freaks me out with the big unblinking eyes, hopefully the networks will keep this show around long enough for it to develop a good fanbase. Too many of my favs are nearing the chopping block/only doing half seasons/or just plain suck at the moment.

Can anyone recommend a good L Word Helena/Alice fic?

So I'm in my third week of school and it's really kicking my ass! I've been so tired lately with work and creating stupid Powerpoint presentations for my computer class that I've got no energy to update the four fics I'm currently writing but last night as I was reading a couple of Dollhouse fics I came up with (in my opinion) a viable reason for a Harry Potter/Dollhouse fic. You can blame scifichick for planting the seed in my head, LOL.

I've wanted to do a Dollhouse fic for a while but I don't like writing a story if I feel like I can't get a good handle on the characters (mannerisms, lingo, reactions, etc...) but the words starting pouring out and I think at best it would be just a long one-shot. Anyone interested in reading? I'll likely post it to my fanfiction.net page.

Alright, I know I'm like eons behind everyone else on the Whedonverse site but I bought the first season of Dollhouse and can I just gush on how amazing Epitath One is and Felicia Day was awesome. I'm such a geek that I even watched the episode while listening to the writers commentary.

I can't wait for the new season, I'm stocking up on recordable dvd's even though I always end up buying the complete season when it's released, mainly for the extras and deleted scenes which this collection had in abundance. So, here's to next season rocking just as bad ass as the first, and Josh if you really want to make a statement how about a little make-out session for Echo and Sierra, and for the love of God tell us right away why Topher made Claire hate him, I've been dieing all summer!!!

Alright so I finally saw HBP last monday and I have to say, story wise/acting it was the best film since PoA.

I judge this not only by the unique blend of humor and drama but because my sister who constantly rips on me for loving Harry Potter came with me and she loved it even though she's never read the books and only watched the first movie.

One thing that struck me as amusing, the scene after the trio leaves the Three Broomsticks and Hermione is totally drunk off of her ass, she throws her arms around Harry and Ron's neck grinning like an idiot, was too funny.

Hopefully, the next two will be as entertaining and the IIC won't make us wait another two years.

My birthday is 11 days away and all I really wanted was a Nintendo Wii & the Wii Fit but last night as I was compiling my Amazon.com wish list, I clicked on over to the Bluefly website and fell in lust with a pair of Miu Miu black leather raspberry contrast platform boots that costs more than my half of the mortgage payment. (Sigh)

So now my focus for the next month and a half will be cutting costs so that I may purchase said boots that I probably will only wear about four times a year. Just thought I'd share what a frivolous idiot I am, feel free to admonish me, LOL.

I am currently in search of a beta reader for a Harry Potter crossover fic with Hermione as the main character. The first chapter is posted on Granger Enchanted and at ff.net.

Now, it's a supernatural crossover fic with Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series about vampire's so there may be a little blood play, not excessive but it's just a warning.

Does anyone know what's up with the ABC show Better Off Ted? I watched a few episodes and it was kind of, eh! But I love Portia like nobodies business and she so deserves to bring her dry witt to a quality comedy, at least until the Arrested Development movie comes out.

Thanks to the genius of Hulu and the makers of DVR's I've managed to catch up on my two new favorite obsessions: Dollhouse and Castle.

It's taken me a mini marathon to really get into Dollhouse because on the surface the storyline is a little out there much like all of Joss Wheadon's shows but once I sat down and watched one episode after the other I am totally hooked on the mystery. Eliza is awesome as usually and Joss even threw Fred from Angel in, oh and the episode when Adelle says 'I'm British we don't pronounce R's' I laughed for like five minutes!

Castle, I loved right off the bat, Nathan is hilarious in whatever he does and this show is no exception. I'm telling you if you haven't watched these shows yet get into it, you won't be disappointed.
